COOPERATIVE PROGRAM OPTION
BSN Basic Track Degree Plan
The cooperative program offers a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; this basic
type program is often called the 2+2 program because applicants to the program
must complete 60 semester hours of lower division, prerequisite coursework prior
to enrollment in the nursing curriculum offered by MUSC at Francis Marion University.
Admission is competitive and on a space-available basis, determined by overall
MUSC College of Nursing enrollment and availability of clinical components.
To be considered for admission, applicants should have a minimum grade point
average of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale) and a minimum 500 verbal and 500 math on the
SAT or a score of at least 1100 on the GRE on two of the three sections, with
verbal being one of the two. For Fall admission, application deadline for MUSC
College of Nursing is December 15. Online applications are available at http://www.musc.edu/es.
