GRADUATE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
GRADUATE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Graduate Advisory Committee (GAC) oversees all graduate programs
at the University. Responsibilities of the GAC are to (1) provide
advice to the Academic Affairs Committee and University officials
on issues concerning graduate programs, (2) review new programs
and prepare proposals for the Academic Affairs Committee, (3)
approve all admissions to graduate programs, and (4) consider
appeals for readmission from students who have been dismissed
from graduate programs.
The Graduate Advisory Committee consists of nine members: the
Provost, Associate Provost, University Registrar, the Dean of
the School of Business plus his/her designee, the Dean of the
School of Education plus his/her designee, and the Chair of the
Department of Psychology and Sociology plus his/her designee.
